Discover the beauty and magic of Buenos
Aires, the traditional tour of the City. Departing from the Colón
Theater we observe the symbolic Obelisk. We arrive at the PLAZA
DE MAYO: Historic, foundational and political epicenter. We visit
the Metropolitan Cathedral, House of Government, the Cabildo,
Town Hall.
The excursion continues
toward the South, passing through old cobblestoned streets adorned
with hundreds of faroles and low houses. We will introduce ourselves
into SAN TELMO, The Tango Neighborhood. Further into the south,
we will arrive in La Boca with its Boca Juniors Stadium, the
maximum showing of the Argentine Passion: Soccer.
Whilst sightseeing we
will see the "conventillos",
colorful buildings made of delicate metal which Italian immigrants
adopted as their home years ago and which is the home of working
class families today. We will visit the famous CAMINITO: the
main tourist attraction of the area.
Bordering the Riachuelo,
our tour now goes up to the northern section of the city. Passing
through the aged port, we see how the scene begins to change,
as we now can observe redone sections of the port in PUERTO
MADERO.
In Retiro, also known
as Plaza San Martín, we connect with the Libertador Avenue,
and enter the northern section of Buenos Aires. We will visit
Palermo, residential neighborhood with parks and elegant buildings.
Sightseeing of the San Martiniano Institute, embassies, museums
and significant monuments.
To complete, the region
of the Woods: The Rosedal, The Magna Carta Monument and the
Four Regions of Argentina and the Zoo.
On the impressive Libertador
Avenue, we finally arrive at the sophisticated RECOLETA, one
the most exclusive and most fashionable neighborhoods of the
city where, amongst other sights, we find the famous Cemetery
next to elegant cafés and restaurants.
This is the end of our
tour and the beginning of a love affair with Buenos Aires!!!!
